We're Pushing 500 Episodes - Here's Everything We Do | Episode 494
Almost nobody needs another vague “mental health resource” they need a clear path to action. We go live with a straightforward update on Voices For Voices: what we are, how we work, and how you can actually find us and support the mission without guessing or digging through links.
We talk about the Voices For Voices TV Show and Podcast as we push toward 500 episodes, and we clarify a question we get constantly: yes, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. That means donations and many purchases can be tax deductible in the United States, and we share the simplest ways to contribute through lovevoices.org plus options like Venmo and Cash App. We also list where you can watch and listen across a huge range of platforms including YouTube, Rumble, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeart, TuneIn, Deezer, and more so you can follow along wherever you already listen.
Then we pull back the curtain on voicesforvoices.org and walk through what’s on the site: our mission focused on mental health, addiction recovery, trauma recovery, accessibility, disability inclusion, and real career support. We highlight resources people often miss like the Career Center, plus the shop, books, and what we’re building toward with future publishing and tour plans. If you’ve ever wanted to help someone feel worthy again, this is your map.

Welcome And Why Go Live
Voices for Voices, Justin Alan HayesHey everyone, it's Justin here with Voices for Voices. We haven't done a uh Instagram live for quite a while, so we thought today would be a good day. Uh it's a it's a gloomy day outside, uh, but uh it's always good to be alive. Uh we're gonna go through some of the updates that you may not know about voices for voices, uh questions that you know we get asked, um, and I just wanted to share uh with uh with everyone. So we're gonna get started. Uh we do have a TV show and podcast titled The Voices for Voices TV Show and Podcast. Pretty uh you know, pretty uh complex there, right? Uh but what we wanted to share about the Voices for Voices TV show and podcasts is we are um not only are we approaching 500 episodes, but we are a charity. So we're a nonprofit, we're a 501c3. Uh we get lots of questions about that. Uh so I I thought I would just uh share that at the the current time as we're we're going through questions I get asked, and then we uh we're we're trying to answer as many as we can uh with this uh IG Live. Uh also people are asking where all they can find the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast. Uh so if they're at home or on the go, you know where they where they can find it at. And so I'm gonna just list all the uh all the different platforms you can find it to date. Um there are probably a few more for Apple users um that uh I I won't be listing but uh we're gonna give it a go. So you can find, you can watch and listen to the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast in a uh myriad of ways. And that is we're just gonna go from uh top to bottom here so you can watch or listen to the Voices for Voices TV Show and Podcast on Rumble, on YouTube, on the web browser, Apple Podcast, Podcast Addict, any smart speaker, TV or smart device, cast box, iVooks, which is spelled I V O O X. A lot of our international uh listeners are utilizing that Spotify, can't forget Spotify, Podbean, iHeart, Odyssey, Amazon Music, Podcast Republic, TuneIn, Pocket Cast, Deezer, Pod Chaser, Podcast Index, Player FM, True Fans, Good Pods, and Listen Notes. So that's a lot. Uh we are not limited to one particular uh one particular platform, and we just wanted to share that um because I know from experience if I've been traveling or you know to and from uh work, you know, you can you can you can find voices for voices everywhere. Uh so we we just wanted to share all the different ways you can find the voices for voices TV show and podcast. And we're closing in on 500 total episodes, which is just a it's incredible. Uh since we are a 501c3, you are able in the United States to donate or purchase any of our merchandise, which I will go over here in a little bit. Um books, and here in the United States, you can write that off on your taxes. Uh 100% tax deductible. We are a 501c3. So the way you can donate, uh, we have three main ways. Uh the first is lovevoices.org. That's lovevoices.org. Lovevoices.org. You can also find us on Venmo in the cash app. We do have a couple of books that are available. You can find those on voices for voices.org and the voices for voices.org is spelled out V O I C E S F O R V O I C E S dot O R G You can also find us, please add us, please follow us on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and just a reminder that all donations, all purchases of merchandise, books, etc. donations are in the United States 100% tax deductible. If you do not live in the United States, uh just check with your tax preparer and uh and see how uh donations to charity work. Every country's a little bit different, uh so we we would just recommend that for for you to do. So that's a lot, right? I mean it now that I'm now that I'm doing this, it it feels like I should be doing this a little more often and sharing because it come on, I mean, let's be real. We all have so much going on. Uh we just want to know exactly where to go. And I like to just be have a little bit of structure and sort of know, like, okay, well, I can go here, or I can go here, or any of the places uh that uh that you listen to podcasts, or if you watch on YouTube or Rumble, you can find Voices for Voices there. We were built our organization off of my mental illnesses, and we have added the trauma and recovery of all kinds, recovery from substances, uh, trauma, maybe a a car accident, maybe relationship, maybe uh something that I didn't list. And so it's very important that we uh uh we just keep those in in mind that we are oh yeah, and oh by the way, yes, there is a dog. We have a dog, Lucy. Uh she is in her last day of having to wear the cone. Um, and so we're we're very excited that we're gonna be able to uh remove the cone uh tomorrow. So it's uh it explains she's just been a trooper uh for for the two-week span. And uh and it's uh it's cool. I've never had a had a pet before and uh and so it's it's neat. Uh even if even if the pet likes to sit on your shoulders or neck area, uh we we figure ways to get things done. Um so what we would like to do next is uh some individuals are have asked uh what our what our website is. Um and so I did you know I did mention the lovevoices.org. That's where you can uh where where you can go uh and make a donation, and it's totally up to you. Uh we are a very open and transparent organization, and we are just grateful to have you with us uh here today, and uh this episode will uh be uh here, I guess, forever. It's close to forever. Uh long past when when when I'm no longer uh lit living. Um but uh so what is our website? So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to attempt to do a little flip here. Here we are. I don't know, can I do this? Yes, okay. Wow. Okay. So voicesforvoices.org is our website. Voicesforvoices.org, voices for voices.org. And so when you do that, you will see in the kind of the center of the page, our logo, voices for voices. On the top right, you will see home, what we do, career center, and events. Right now we don't have any events scheduled, but as you are seeing here with the scroll bar, uh we actually are going to be going on a tour, uh, but and it's actually twin uh 2026 to 2028. So we do need to update that. And so more information coming soon on that. And so we're just gonna go page by page. Um, and and so we scroll here, and the voices for voices publishing the books that we have and will have uh for sale uh will be able to be found on the Voices for Voices Publishing World Tour 2026 to 2028. And so then we have here, want to add a tour stop to your want us to add a tour stop to your town. Please fill out all the information. And so it's you know, general information. And then we get into uh some of the books that we have for sale. So I'm just gonna scroll all the way through. So you can find all this on voicesforvoices.org. Their first comic book, The Adelan. It's incredible. And then we obviously do have a way to support the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast, which we are a 501c3 as mentioned. And you're also able to make a donation uh the these ways here. Okay. And then if you want to head on over and find the Voices for Voices TV show and podcasts, you can click right here. And then this is just a little bit of a collage of things we've done over the years helping people just spread in love with human human beings. And so we get into our mission is to improve the lives of others with mental health, addiction, accessibility, and disability needs, and career support. We do have a career career center on our website, which a lot of people do not even know about. Uh, and then our Voices for Voices vision, as you can see, is to make mental health, accessibility, and inclusion a non-negotiable priority for people everywhere, coupled with long-term career development to become a healthy and productive member of society. So that, ladies and gentlemen, and we have we have a couple of uh testimonies here. Thank you for being a mental health advocate for so many. You helped me at a time when I had lost all hope. Your donations brought smiles to my children's faces, even with the war happening in our hometown. That is relating to a mission trip we had to Ukraine. And then we go through all the different ways, donations help others from food, shelter, mental, physical, emotional health care, clean drinking water, clothing, other essential items, and then we do have a way to check out our previous uh larger events and a little bit about me and the quote that I I share, as you will know if you've watched or listened to any of our shows. Voices for voices will help three billion people over the course of my lifetime and beyond. Be a voice for you and someone else today. Okay, you want to be a sponsor? Let us know. And interested in volunteering, sponsorship, opportunities, being a guest on our show, uh, help our uh organization reach our goal of helping those three billion people. And the House of You, Redwood Living, our key sponsors, and another way to donate, and we have the quick links. So we're gonna scroll up really fast, and we're gonna go to what we do. And when you see under what we do, you have what we do, shop, podcast, career center blog. Blog's pretty we pretty explanatory. Uh Career Center, Podcast, and shop and what we do. So let's just start with the the what we do. So here's here's the pie. We inform and educate, we intake, refer, follow up and follow through. And we also have workforce development and advancement. And then right under there, you can see we have our latest episode, number four hundred and ninety-three there, along with all the other episodes uh that that that we have uh that that populate. So now we go to our shop. And this, folks, is really an area that we don't talk about a whole lot, but we should. So we have a whole shop area. So we have you know the donations, we have a gift card for our merch shop, we have hats, we have beanies, different color shirts. We got a we got a bomber jacket, we got yoga capri leggings, uh short sleeve t-shirts, yoga leggings, uh athletic shorts, athletic shorts, embroidered champion packable jacket. That's the one I have. And then we just scroll through and there's all kinds, and then we get into stickers, stickers, spiral notebook. Get into our spiral notebook. We get into adult coloring pages. We have a set of three that I design based on our organization. Uh so they are you will not find these anywhere else in the world except here. Of greening cards, blankets. We have patches, mugs, tumblers, steel water bottle, enamel mugs, steel tumblers. And then we get down into we also have VIP meet and greets, autograph photos, tote bags, flags, glass jar, soy, wax candle, more mugs, trucker cap. So you can see we have quite the the breadth of products. Then we click on podcast, and here we are. We have a couple different spots where you can find that as we we just saw. Then the career center, this is also it's listed. Here, let me go back because I'm missing. Here we go. So the career center is here. And then also under what we do, career center. And this is not your typical indeed.com. This is a more uh in-depth career center where we're connecting talent with opportunity, and you can we have everything, we have uh a lot of a lot of mental health jobs for for good reason, right? That's what we're about. We also have uh ways for you to view all the jobs. You can upload your resume. You can search by location, job title, keyword. We also have ways for you to improve your resume, my resume writing, different insights, there's coaching available, uh, job search obviously. So these are all things that we don't really talk about. Um we don't we don't we don't really talk about as much. Uh so then we'll press it back. There we go. We'll go back to the home page. And then here here we are. So I am going to let's see if I can get this switched. Okay, now I'm back. So that's a lot, isn't it? That is a lot of information. And it's so important that we use the money to help others. And all we have to do is help one another. Just as if they were our our relative, our our loved ones, uh, somebody we know, even if it's somebody we don't know, uh it's just an amazing feeling. I'm getting getting chills right now. It's just an amazing feeling when we're able to help a person, and a lot of it doesn't have to be money. I I shared following us on social media, watching and listening to our show, uh heading over to voicesforvoices.org, heading over to lovevoices.org. Uh it's it's incredible that an organization like ours, Voices for Voices, has a uh has a groundswell of so many people, all the people that have watched, listened to our shows, have been at our events, have listened or watched our events, uh so many of the the places that we're gonna be uh hitting up on our uh world tour from Voices for Voices Publishing. Uh it's just incredible. You know, we're able to dream. I think that's a big thing. We're able to dream. Don't let anybody tell you you can't with hard work, determination, and focus, which it's hard for me to focus at times. Um, but when I focus, beautiful things happen, people are helped, people feel worthy, and life is worth living, and we just are so grateful to have each one of you uh here if you're able to reach out to twenty-five, fifty, hundred contacts in your phone and let them know about the voices for voices organization, which is voicesforvoices.org, and that's four spelled out F O R. And then let them know about the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast. Let them know, let them know, and then let them know that there's a world tour that maybe come into their town, their city, their area, that they may be able to uh have an opportunity to uh to come to our tour stop in in their their town or your town. So just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being with us. We look forward to so much more uh opportunity to help others. Um and as I've said before, and I wholeheartedly believe not only are we helping others, but I'm helping myself by uh helping my mental health and sharing. This is this is like a notebook or like a diary, uh, the the the episodes that that we have on our show uh and what we're doing right right here, right now. So thank you so much. Tell a friend, tell a family member about Voices for Voices. Uh we are so indebted to you uh and are so grateful that you have decided at one time or another to watch or listen to even one second of our Voices for Voices TV show and podcast. So until next time, let's celebrate the voices of everyone in the world. Let's be a voice for ourselves and maybe someone else in need. Again, Justin Alan Hayes, Voices for Voices. We love you, we support you, and we'll see you next time. Take care. Bye bye for now.
